Below is a list of common questions related to accessing our research content and navigating our website.

If you have a question that is not addressed below, please e-mail us at info@negawattresearch.com and we will respond to you promptly.

All of our e-mail notifications about new research contain an embedded hyperlink that will take you to the appropriate content.  Please click on the hyperlink in the e-mail to be directed to Negawatt's website to download the research.  

If you have not yet registered through our website, you will be asked to register.  If you have already created an account with us, please be sure to log in at the upper-right-hand corner of the screen with your username and password.

If you did not save the e-mail notification with the relevant hyperlink, you can always find Negawatt's latest research listed on our homepage.

(Please keep in mind that Negawatt's research is divided into two broad categories: Free Research available to all registered users, and Premium Content available to clients who have paid for special access.  For more information about becoming a Negawatt client, please call us at +1 (650) 400-7768).

To request a new password, please click "Forgot password?" in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen.  You will be asked to enter your account username or e-mail address.

Your username will be e-mailed to you, along with a one-time link that you can use to re-set your password.  Please note that you must click the one-time link and re-set your password within 24 hours of receiving our e-mail.  Otherwise, the link will become inactive and you will need to submit a new request to change your password.

Once you have changed your password, you will automatically be logged into the site.

Passwords are case-sensitive.  Please make sure that your Caps Lock isn't on.

Many web browsers save password information in a Cookies folder.  Try deleting your browser's cookie for negawattresearch.com and re-entering your username and password.

Our research is divided into two broad categories: Free Research available to all of our registered users, and Premium Content available to those of our clients who have paid for access to that research.

Access to our Free Research is available to all registered users of our website.  If you don't already have a username and password, please register.  If you already have a username and password, please make sure that you have logged in at the upper-right-hand corner of the screen.

To access your account, please first log in at www.negawattresearch.com.  You may then either click on your first name in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen, or simply click here.

From your User Account page, you have the option to edit basic information such as your e-mail address or password.  By clicking on "Personal Information," you may also edit your employment information, as well as your research areas of interest.  By keeping your research interests up to date, we are able to better provide you with relevant information on our latest research in those areas.

When making any changes to your User Account information, please be sure to press "Save" when finished.

To view research produced by Negawatt Research, you must have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader installed on your computer, which can be downloaded for free from Adobe's website.

In certain instances, the file size may be too large to allow you to view the file in a web browser.  Please try downloading and saving the file to your computer instead.
